Baldwin Park Municipal Police Missions

Baldwin Park Municipal Police department provides public safety through its basic police patrol service. Our helicopter, motorcycles, and bicycle patrols allow us to respond quickly to emergency situations, and gives us the flexibility to act and prevent crime instead of merely reacting to crimes that have already occurred.

The patrol function is supplemented by our highly specialized Detective Bureau, which conducts all follow-up investigations to reported crime. Our very active Community Relations Bureau, whose function is to increase the community’s involvement in crime prevention and provide education in various aspects of public safety, conducts Neighborhood Watch and Business Watch meetings.
